With more than twenty five years of leadership experience in the mining and financial sectors, David Grondin has built a diversified career spanning junior mining development, institutional capital structuring, and commodity-backed financial instruments. Since 2011, he has served as President and CEO of the Company, and he is also a director of AM Resources. Previously, he was President and CEO of NQ Exploration Inc. from 2007 to 2018, where he oversaw exploration programs, corporate development initiatives, and multiple strategic transactions.
Mr. Grondin began his career as a financial analyst at CTI Capital Inc. from 1997 to 2000 and has since accumulated extensive experience in initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and reverse takeovers. He has successfully led cross-border financing initiatives, designed capital-guaranteed investment platforms, and overseen mining transactions across Canada, Latin America, and Africa.
Recognized for his ability to bridge technical project development with sophisticated financial architecture tailored to sovereign and institutional investors, Mr. Grondin also serves as an associate expert for an INGO in consultation with the United Nations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration (finance) from HEC Montréal.
For the past twenty years, Michel Labrousse has developed various businesses in investment banking and financial markets in Europe and Asia. Currently a Senior Advisor for StormHarbour Securities Hong Kong, a small debt capital markets securities firm focusing on China-related businesses and having some areas of expertise in infrastructure, natural resources and real estate. Until July 2009, he was in charge of the financial markets businesses and subsidiaries in Asia of Natixis, the French banking group where he focused his efforts to build the public markets franchise with an emphasis on the equity, commodities and fixed income derivatives businesses. He was also involved in developing a Strategic Solutions business for both corporate and institutional to cover their funding and risk hedging needs. Previously he ran the same business in Japan for ten years. His teams have developed various financing solutions to liabilities management optimization. While based in London he also developed a global macro internal hedge fund when he served as Deputy Head of the markets and investment banking activities covering all asset classes.
Martin Nicoletti is a certified general accountant with more than 32 years of experience. He has been involved in global exploration activities with public junior mining companies since 2004. His duties include financial controls and financial reporting. He presently acts as chief financial officer for a number of public companies.
Jean is a professional geologist with 45 years of experience in geology and mineral exploration nationally in Canada and internationally in the USA, Mexico, Latin America, Ireland, Spain and Africa. He has been a C-suite executive for small cap junior exploration companies over the years leading towards successful exploration programs in Quebec and Ontario, in Mexico and Africa. Jean remains active as a technical, management and financing consultant with junior explorers since the early 2000s through his private geo-consultancy firm. His expertise also includes corporate and project valuations, audits, and reporting; exploration program planning, execution and reporting; and research and investment presentations across Canada, the US and Europe. He holds B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Geology from the University of Ottawa and was active as an exploration geologist early in his career with trend setters Newmont, Falconbridge, Dome Mines and Placer Dome. Jean successfully led exploration teams in the search for precious and base metals, nickel and PGE’s, uranium, and iron; and he brings a proven track record in leadership skills, strategic planning and mineral exploration leading to discovery. Jean is currently a mineral exploration consultant/contractor at Appian Advisory LLP, Explo-Logik Inc., and Dolomite International.
